Gold prices are trading near unchanged levels in quieter early U.S. trading Thursday—just ahead of a heavy dose of U.S. economic data. December Comex gold was last down $0.30 an ounce at $1,325.80. December Comex silver was last up $0.069 at $19.14 an ounce.
