Sierra Metals Inc. (TSX, BVL: SMT) reports first-quarter silver-equivalent production was 2.6 million ounces, down 19% from the same period a year ago although up from the fourth quarter. Copper-equivalent production was 17.2 million pounds, a 19% year-on-year decrease.
